My Visit to Seattle

My husband and I chose Seattle for a short trip to use up some frequent flyer miles that were about to expire. We have almost finished raising three great kids, and need to start finding our way again "just the two of us".
We stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel downtown and visited Pikes Place Market, the entire downtown area, Bainbridge Island, and we had such a wonderful time. The weather there is great. It's a nice change from the desert where we live.
You have many wonderful activities and sights to see and experience. We were very taken with the mixture of forest and ocean there. We felt a kind of rugged adventurous spirit there in the air and with the people. Being from New Mexico and loving Colorado, we fell in love with your city. We plan to come back and bring the kids sometime.
