Overpriced housing

Despite the low crime and laid back living, Seattle is fast becoming one of the most expensives places to live. I am born and raised here for the past 35 years and the living allowance hasn't increased in over 5 years, while the housing, gas, food, and taxes have increased. Thanks to the out of town buyers, I can't even afford to buy a home in Seattle! It is highly frustrating! I am looking elsewhere to settle down and buy a home...perhaps Ashville NC. Promising economy and affordable homes is what Seattle use to be 20 years ago.
