Different Seattle perspective

I read all of the reviews here. Everyone is right to some degree. Times are changing and things are getting more expensive. I am moving from Chicago to Seattle. I previously lived in Denver. My parents live in Portland so I am trying to move a bit closer. After all of the complaints that I have heard about Seattle, come live in Chicago, NYC or LA for a little while and you will feel much better. I personally think Chicago is a pit! It is great for food, drink, and the boating on the lake but everything else is sub par in my opinion. Things are ridiculously expensive here, people are rude, congestion is terrible, and mass transit, although good, is disgusting dirty and crowded. I think that if you don't like where you live - move. Seattle has a lot of promising things to offer as well as its downfalls. Make the best of it, strive for a better job, or move!!!
