Review of Seattle, Washington

I LOVE Seattle
Star Rating - 1/2/2013
I have to say, I am very disappointed with a lot of what I have seen on here. I moved to Seattle from Vermont, and I absolutely love it here. The temperature is a lot warmer, and it rains LESS here than it does back in Vermont. Yes, it's true that the winters tend to be cloudy, but the rain is rarely more than a drizzle and there are still at least a few sunny days a month. The summers are absolutely amazing. Warm without being too hot and nothing but sun and clear skies for three months.

Seattle is definitely one of the most beautiful places I've been to. The mountains that surround the city are breathtaking and you're never more than 30 minutes from either lounging on the beach or skiing down a slope.

My husband and I had originally planned on moving to Seattle just for a few years for work and then going back to Vermont. Now we're so in love with it we decided to stay and raise our family here. Don't listen to all the naysayers on this page...the truth is that the weather here isn't any worse than a lot of places, and it has so much to offer.

Glad you like Seattle a lot. I have been to Washington and Oregon and its very beautiful there. I am moving to Portland area soon or maybe Seattle. Seattle and Portland area are both wonderful places to live I don't know why I am seeing some negative reviews about both places because it's seem to be not true because I have been there and I like both states a lot. Yeah I agree with you about the weather and the things to do and to see in the mountains and the ocean is beautiful there.

Glad to hear you like Seattle and I agree with you. I love the pacific northwest united state and I am moving to Portland Oregon this summer because visit the northwest four times before and always love going to Washington and Oregon. Great weather and the rain in winter is calm and nothing extreme like in Texas where heavy rain and large hail can happen in Tx. Lot of things to do and to see in Washington and Oregon. I don't agree on the other negative comments about what other people says about the northwest because I just don't get it and I don' t see anything wrong but it's not prefect but the quailty of life is so much better than the rest of the country and I will be happy living in Portland or maybe Seattle.
