I have lived here for 2 years and this has been my experience.
It's grey and cool most of the time.If you like warm or hot sunny weather don't live here.
Most People here tend to be:(statisically speaking) neurotic,artistic,intelligent,educated,introverted,tolerant and liberally inclined politically.If that's not you don't move here,you won't like it.
It can be difficult to get to know people well initially, but continued efforts to be social will pay off, you just have to find the right niche. Go out and do what you like and you will meet like-minded people.It's really not rocket sceince kids!
The only other thing is that I moved here from DFW and things tend to be a little crampt and claustrophobic for me so I am still adjusting to that.Everything and everyone tend to be so close together-if you need wide open spaces and and lots of room to be happy this is not the place for you.
