Not what it once was

I was born in Seattle and my family have lived here since the 40's. I moved to CA when I was in grade school as my dad was in the navy. I came back to Seattle with my family in 1995. The climate here has always been beautiful summers and overcast drizzly winters but when working your pretty much inside anyway. Overall Northwesterners themselves are pretty friendly. Whats changed was when the tech bubble was strong a lot of people bought propert here on spec and priced homes out of reach for the average person. A lot of techies also moved here for microsoft and that changed the personality of the area. Overall if you like to camp, hike, ride bikes or be around the water its a great place. You can be from the city to the mountains in 45 minutes.Over all air quality is excellent. Rain over the past 5 years has been different a lot at once I would guess because of global warming
