Dark, Gloom

I moved here by default from Alaska because I had family, but after living here for 7 years, I'm getting tired of the gloom. I love the summers here, but they're too short, and after living in Alaska for so long, I can tell that the long dark winters get me down. I feel so much better during the summers, and I'm investigating California because of the sunshine.
