Shelby Twp, being our residence for the past 14 years has overall been a great place to raise a family. There is great community spirit. The school systems tends to be over crowded due to the increase of homes going up. But the education they recieve is in the top 10 of the state of Michigan. We are planning on relocating now that our kids are grown, looking to move to a state where the winters are not so long and gloomy...Michigan has long gloomy days, but if that does not bother you, than Shelby Twp is a great place to live.
