I moved here 2 years ago and enjoy the friendly people, affordable homes, and attractions ranging from wildlife refuges and historic sites to ocean beaches and lively cities -- all within an hour's drive. The Smyrna zip code includes unincorporated areas with a mix of farms and suburban neighborhoods. It's a vibrant, growing region. Many residents have moved here for the very low taxes and slower pace of life. Mild winters have snow once in a while, and summer breezes come from the nearby Chesapeake and Delaware Bays.
