I used to really like this place, because the people were friendly, crime is low, and the cost of living isn't bad. But the longer I live here, the more problems I see. The cost of living is low by some standards, but it's higher than it should be considering average wages here are barely minimum wage. The people are just nosy, not particularly friendly, and drugs are a problem. The local government doesn't want the citizens to drink, but so far it's not a dry county yet. I'm still expecting that to happen. Nothing ever happens here. You have to drive at least 30 miles one way for any form on entertainment, and shopping is non existent in Snow Hill. We don't have a mall, a movie theater, a decent place to eat (other than ribeyes-pricey), or even a Walmart.
