Review of St. George, Utah

Hot with Scorpions
Star Rating - 1/10/2007
With 118F temperatures, this is an anti-human environment. At temps of between 127F and 130F the human body finds it impossible to cool itself, even just resting in the shade. Death awaits.

People in desert communities have their homes exterminated about 4 times a year to repel snakes and scorpions. Some have to hose down the base of their homes daily, as the bricks will disintigrate in the heat.

The only thing I like the desert for is that it is the only environment in which stucco as a house siding is really practical.

Is the huge fault lying under Salt Lake City running anywhere under St. George? I don't know.

Utah is the only state in the union that I know of with an official position of 'Pornography Czar'.

Where are the great libraries, museums, schools? The nearest large city, about 200 miles away, is Vegas, and that is not a place where I'd like to live, either.

really?!?! kinda strange that historical records contradict your "claims". Which is more likely to exaggerate, human or thermometer?
