Review of Sterling Heights, Michigan

hardly anything
Star Rating - 3/29/2007
The most exciting crime we have in Sterling Heights relates to Auto Accidents. I have lived here for 6 years and nothing has occured except for 2 years ago a cop was shot in his car in the Target parking lot.
"A Sterling Heights police officer - described by his superiors as a "baby face" father of one - was the victim of what investigators on Saturday called an execution-style slaying.
Officer Mark Anthony Sawyers was shot as he compiled a traffic accident report on a computer in his patrol car Friday in the parking lot of the Target Center on Van Dyke near 15 Mile Road. - from policeone.com"
But other than this is is rather quite with strict rules. Sterling Heights values protection. There are always cops driving up and down the streets here for routine. They are friendly and when you call them- they always come out. Noise control is big in Sterling Heights- So if you have a noisy neighbor, just pick up the phone and they will be out.
