I'm an 18 year resident of Sunrise Manor. Yes, we have problems with meth heads and petty crime. But we also have a strong sense of community, incredible mountain views, an abundance of dog parks, proximity to Lake Mead, huge home lots (my lot is 19/th of an acre, pretty remarkable for land value). Low property taxes. That's the good. The bad, yes, the drug addicts/users/criminals/poor drivers. A lack of diversity in restaurants and shopping. Extremely poor police response. But I like living here and feel the good outweighs the bad.
