Housing prices are out of control...

In the last 3 years there has been this strange push to make Tampa and other Florida cities more like those in California. They're well on their way, if you're talking about housing costs.
Slow road development, huge sprawl and outrageous housing costs make this city just not work for me, anymore. Not to mention the wages haven't changed much since 1990.
The schools are overcrowded. Due to the insane amount of people moving to this area... everytime a new school is built, it is immediately overpopulated and covered with portable classrooms to sustain this growth.
I have lived here for 28 years. I'm moving before I can't buy a house for less than 400 grand.
