All major cities have there issues as we all well know. Crime, pollution, traffic, etc. Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater can be a very nice place to live, as long as you can over look a few things. 1. Cost of Living - Housing insurance and taxes are high. 2. Traffic - All I can say is don't move anywhere near US19 - it is truly dangerous. 3. The People - I don't want to generalize here, but.....people here are extremely rude and there is no such thing as common courtesy, everyone is out for themselves. The weather is nice in the winter and HOT in the summer... It's Florida, you have to expect that. There are tons, i mean TONs of things to do. Tampa is not Boring, it just might take you hours to get where you want to go. Beaches are beautiful as long as you are not around during "Red Tide". You will want to know what Red Tide is before you move down here.
