This community and in fact what is called The Conroe School District is a fanatical Protestant religious cliche. Most recently, a Bible course has been implemented in the school system to study. specifically, Protestant Religion and use The king James verision of the Bible. It is simply amazing that such blatant disregard for the diversity and beliefs of other people in the community of well over 300,000 should exist in a public school system and in the 21st Century. It is consistent with the racist views of both the school board and the Superintendant of the School District and clearly verified by the poor performacne of the Conroe High School. The Conroe High School is composed mostly of latinos and blacks, whereas the remianing high schools are mostly white ( greater than 95%) vs Conroe (Whites less than 20%). The Principal of the Conroe High School hired five years ago to improve educational standards has done nothing as the rating of this high school is still very poor. It is certainly apparent that rather than catering to the fanatical religious zealots and introducing a Bible study course driven by the white protestant community that attention should be directed to improving the performacne of the minority high school. I expect that the KKK is forming up and being directed by the School Board and that soon we will have signs appearing approved by the Superintendant and Director of Curriculum telling people of color not to be on the streets when the sun goes down.
