Torrington is a really nice city with good public schools. Torrington has a low crime rate. Torrington does not have good public transportation so a car is a must. There is not a whole lot going on in the little city but that can be a good thing. Torrington is 35 minutes from Hartford the capitol city and New Haven a bigger city as well.
