Review of Trinidad, Colorado

Rising Cost of Housing
Star Rating - 1/8/2007
My husband and I have been looking to purchase a home for the past couple of years in the Trinidad, Colorado area. It seems as though the cost of housing is skyrocketing in this area. Rent averages around $800 a month and it is quite difficult to find a home to purchase under $150,000. Unfortunately, the wages in this area are not comparable to the cost of housing unless you are employed by one of the companies that work in the gas drilling field. This is quite unfortunate as Trinidad is a nice place to live, if you can afford it.
