Review of Vancouver, Washington

Cheaper than Portland
Star Rating - 11/30/2006
Most residents of Vancouver use it as a way to live by Portland without actually having to pay city prices. They commute across one of two bridges into Portland jamming up the freeways to either shop or go to work. There isn't much fun to be had in the actual city of Vancouver itself. Portlanders tend to be a much more interesting crowd.

I completely disagree with this viewpoint. I will not say that I never go into Portland. However, most things I can purchase here and the culture is strong and expanding. It is a stereotype that everyone moves to Vancouver to screw up the roads in Portland. From what I have seen, many people live in Portland and travel up here just as often.
