Review of Wilmington, North Carolina

Hot Summers, Okay Winters
Star Rating - 6/8/2014
Winters here are milder than farther north, but not "beach warm." Summers are hot and sticky humid, even at night.

With all the positive comments, my one concern is the "hot and sticky humid, even at night" summers. I lived in San Antonio TX for 16 years and loved it except Summer runs from May - October and it is hot, hot, hot. Finally moved to the Mid-Atlantic, where we have two months of misery but the rest of the year is great - 4 seasons. I'm willing to put up with 3 months of temps in 80's (not nineties) and 50% humidity. Any comments on the heat/humidity are appreciated.
