Very hard to find a job in Wilmington and there is no such thing as a good paying job. Compared to other parts of the country it is very backward. Wilmington is the most expensive city in North Carolina and the pay scale is the lowest. Buying a house is almost impossible (unless you enjoy living in a double wide).
