Great place to live!

We moved to Windsor from Cheyenne, WY 5 years ago & we love it. Denver is about an hour south of us & we can be at DIA within an hour. We are also about 13-15 miles from Fort Collins (overated), Greeley & Loveland. We can be in Estes Park in about an hour also. My daughter commuted from home to Colorado State. Every time we go to Ft. Collins, we're so glad we live here instead. We can walk to the grocery store & pharmacy,dry cleaners & video store. People are generally friendly. Crime is low. Not sure where another reviewer thought schools were as bad as Arkansas, etc. Would love to see where they got their stats. Greeley, on the other hand does have major problems. Unfortunately, all around us is booming & population is growing , along with traffic. The weather can be extreme but we get a lot of sun, so I can handle it. The only thing I don't like about Colorado, in general, is the lack of decent public transportation. People out here love their SUV's & pickups & are aggresive drivers. Large number of people are from other states (30%)from California alone. This is a wonderful place to raise a family, if you can afford the housing!
