SO much better than Florida!

I am in Girard, so just outside of Youngstown. I haven't spent any time in Youngstown proper, but Girard is lovely. I am loving having seasons, and the fact that oppressive, disgusting heat that keeps you trapped indoors in front of the AC is minimal here. My dogs are happier, with fewer issues with fleas, allergies, etc. There isn't nasty dusty/chalky soil here like Florida, either. The people are more friendly as well. I would prefer mountains like Western NC or like West Virginia, but it's still beautiful here with lush green lawns and pretty creeks and such. Also, the cost of living is so cheap that it's mind blowing! I am in a safe, nice area. I am disabled and cannot work, so the jobs or lack there of don't affect me, but I see hiring signs all over. 10/10 recommend.
