When people come to a lock and dam they dont expect to see a bunch of houses lining the whole shore, the only place to fish is on the dam itself. Not a very good place to take your kids fishing. Next is a place for public hunting and fishing, well if you want to get attacked by thousands of Mosquitos and catch bottom feeding junk, then this maybe your spot. I have been out here for 1 month now, and I have been out everyday to try and find a good spot. There is no good spot in this town unless you have a boat or you know of somebody that lives on the river, or if you want you can spend a whopping $15 at the tremplo fishing dock each person, Crazy if you ask me, I would rather just spend that money on the drive to lacrosse to do some real fishing.
