Seattle - Crime is killing the city
Star Rating - 7/29/2021
I’ve lived in Seattle for 6 years. When I moved to the city it was lively, fun, and relatively safe for a big city. Seattle is surrounded by mountains and water. The city itself is gorgeous, but now it is too dangerous to walk down the street after 5pm. Gun violence is way up and so is rent. Homicides are already past yearly average in 6 months. It breaks my heart to see a beautiful city turn into a dark place. There are no consequences for breaking the law. Criminals are out in 24 hours after murdering pets, rape, violence etc. For 5 months people have been throwing concrete on cars that are coming into the city from the interstate. Homelessness and mental illness is a huge issue that continues to grow. Somehow the city continues to get more expensive though. I know many professionals who are starting to search elsewhere for work especially if this upcoming election winners continue to value lawlessness. I hope Seattle can turn around. It slipped quickly the past few years.

This is completely untrue... There's definitely punishments for committing crimes, it's just usually a severe beating or execution by gangs in blue and black. Also violence and gun violence is up due to those who are supposed to serve and protect acting as judge, jury, and executioner. And yes, mental health and homelessness is a huge issue, but there's not a damn person that wants to pay 00.01¢/month extra to fix these issues because it would be "communism". Even though Noone knows what that means.

I was living in 1st hill (supposed to be a super high in neighborhood) I grew up you're my entire life. But ever since Jenny jerkins got in office this city destroyed itself. After being robbed at gunpoint for the third time this year I threw everything in my car and I left to Wisconsin. It breaks my heart every day no end of the city I love and grew up in his gone and lost now it's just overrun by gangsters organized crime and you can do any crime you want to not get arrested. When I was at Target getting baggage so I could pack my stuff the two totes I ordered were already stolen when I went to pick them up and I was watching as people steal stuff as I have to go and pay $200 to get a suitcase and I knew I could have just walked out of there with no consequence but I paid the money. Seattle I used to talk about how was the best place on Earth and brag about how amazing it was I never thought there would be a day that I have to say it's one of the worst places... Wisconsin isn't my ideal place but I can walk outside without stepping on a meth needle or worried about getting robbed here I know that the police will respond if someone commits a felony level crime. I'm not saying living Wisconsin but live anywhere but the West Coast right now. That all be a gangster is cool represent the hood garbage that came from California and spreading is destroying America and I'm not a Republican or anything but after what's happening to Seattle I don't know what I believe anymore my entire world got turned upside down and I am confused and scared.
