natural beauty minimal polution

I found Noel rich in natural beauty. Streets were not littered with fast food wrapers/alcoholic/soda pop beverage cans, cigarette butts. Houses no matter how poor appearing were usually occupied, but no filth, trash in yards. I stayed at a motel that had a beautiful patio behind it. The trip down was through pretty landscapes--down the southern part of Missouri, or you can go down 169 Hwy I think on the eastern Kansas side.
