Review of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts

Shrewsbury Life Style
Star Rating - 11/8/2012
Shrewsbury resembles a Norman Rockwell painting in the winter months. a suburb of both Boston and downtown Worcester, 50 miles from Boston and 15 minutes from Worcester. Although this town offers considerable commercial development along Rt. 9 and numerous shopping centers, this town has retained it rural flavor and charm.

Lake Quinsigamond is a long deep lake separating Worcester and Shrewsbury, MA. The quinsigamond Boat Club was formed during the mid 1800's. and the first boat race or 'regatta' was held. The lake's geographical features make it ideal for such races. The 2000 meter rowing course is internationally recognized as one of the best courses in the world.

Shrewsbury is ideally located in the 'golden triangle' between Routes #495,#290, #90, #9, #20 and #140 with commutes to nearby biotech, medical and technical companies.
