this town is so corrupt it's not funny. there are towns half the size of Abilene and they have two and three public tornado shelters. This town did have one shelter but shut it down because they want to expand their jail. Sitting in the middle of tornado alley and no public shelter , that's our tax dollars at work. The government in this town are prime examples of the stupidity that is rampant in this loser dump. Don't move here,if you are smart. The cost of living is ridiculous. These want -to- bes are major swindlers , they'll take your money but they really don't want you here. This place is a major loser cause. Epidemic gossips and backstabbers run rampant. Remember, you've been warned
