Review of Trempealeau, Wisconsin

Beautiful
Star Rating - 5/14/2007
Trempealeau is nestled beside the Missippi River and provides gorgeous panoramic views of the water and river bluffs. Boating, fishing and other water sports are steps away with a wonderful marina within view located right at the lock and dam, which is a tourist attraction in itself. Perrot State Park, bordering the town to the north, provides hiking, camping and canoe opportunities and a bike trail goes right through town. Two fabulous restaurants are located in town both with river views, and there are also two small hotels. Trempealeau is located about 2 hours from the Twin Cities and about a half hour from LaCrosse, WI. Trempealeau is going to be a "happening" place in a few years with home developments in progress near town. You will not find a more beautiful place.
