Review of Albuquerque, New Mexico

Albuquerque, NM is a great city
Star Rating - 12/2/2019
Albuquerque, NM is a great city filled with innovative technology, such as a bus with its own dedicated lane on the street.

The crime here is low, and if you’re used to living in any major city, such as Juarez, Tijuana, or Mexico City, you should be fine here.

Albuquerque has thriving industries in qualifying for federal dollars (a major source of job growth) and drug trafficking. There are many jobs available in the latter, and it’s a great place to get ahead in your career, because the justice system does not keep people in prison that effectively or for that long.

If you’re looking for career networking, there are multiple prison gangs that operate in and out of prison, such as SNM.

Albuquerque is a great place to raise a family, because the government provides Medicaid and SNAP to help cover the expenses.

There are many fun indoor activities in Albuquerque, such as staying home and watching Netflix on weekends while lots of drunk drivers are out and crime spectating (observing the ridiculous things that people do in this city on the news).

You can access all the conveniences you might need here, such authentic Mexican food and any illegal substance trafficked from the southern border.

Should anything go wrong, there is a thriving homeless scene with many other homeless arriving from other states on a regular basis.

If you want a great place not to work in the legal economy, to indulge your vices, to pop out a lot of babies on the public dime, this is just the place.

What planet are you people living on??? Albuquerque is one of the most dangerous, crime ridden cities in the country! 2019 saw the most homicides in recent years (2019)! The city and police dept are in hot water for cooking the numbers, and they STILL have record numbers of violent crime!!!!

Heh. Nice bit of creative snarkiness there. Of course, the requisite name-calling ensues... How dare you have any opinions of your own? Bigot! Racist! MAGA hat wearing, lock-step, gun toting, toothless bible-thumping redneck Trump supporter! Tiny brained wiper of other peoples’ bottoms! Seriously though, your review and many, many others here tend to paint a troubling picture of contrasts. Beautiful weather and architecture, great food... then the camera pulls back and you see the homelessness, needles, gangs, crime and corruption. Mmmm, sounds like another California progressive paradise in the making. *sigh* Not for me, thanks.

It's easy to see the code words and phrases that give away the garden variety Trump supporters who wander the web looking for places to write silly things. The stuff about "government provides" and the tired old baloney about "getting tough on crime" that dates from the Reagan era are two of the easier ones. The truth is that Albuquerque is not a bad place to live as long as you know the city, where you are and keep watch over what you're doing. Yes there are problems in the city but crime is down now for more than a year in a row and in significant numbers. It's a beautiful city in a beautiful state. Just keep in mind that for regular people, the internet is the wealth of the world's knowledge at our fingertips. For people like Mark, it's just the tool used to write silly nonsense on the Men's Room wall without having to leave the safety of his home.

That was some great snarkiness. But clearly, you're a bigot. Mexico City is one of the most amazing cities you'll ever visit, with a crime rate per capita lower than the average of all major US cities. You need to stop judging Mexico by the border news and actually check it out in person before you fling around "facts" about it.

This is a very funny review. You are such a great writer and your sarcasm is hidden and a breath of fresh air. I do not live in NM but am exploring it and this review gave me the chuckles. Thank you and have a nice day. And for those of you who don't get it - read it slowly one more time and think of what the word sarcasm means.
