Review of Paris, Texas

Great Place for Catholic families and retirees
Star Rating - 2/19/2017
The cost of living runs close to 30% lower than the average for the US. The local parish, Our Lady of Victory, can accommodate another 100 - 200 families. The State of Texas certified Paris as a retirement community. The town doesn't offer much in entertainment value, but you can reach Dallas or Shreveport (Bossier City) in about 1.5 hours. Check on Broken Bow Lake area, the Ozark Mountains, White River and Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Bossier City has the best music next to New Orleans and also some Casinos and other entertainment venues. Dallas-Ft. Worth has about everything else.
