Review of Bristol, Connecticut

Nice city, corrupt government.
Star Rating - 8/18/2021
It's actually a very nice little city, but unfortunately, the local government is corrupt. They have a female mayor and from what I've seen, she is fairly toxic. Lots of rumors about corruption, etc. Not that long ago, her teenage son was picked up by the police along with two others, for vandalism at a school bus yard. There were many thousands of dollars in damage. Two boys were arrested, but the mayor's son was given a ride home and the entire matter was hushed up. Not good!!! Her husband is also a police officer. Yikes. Lots of strings were pulled to keep the teenager's record clean including intimidation. Other than corruption at city hall, the place seems safe and is generally quiet.
