Review of Alhambra, California

I used to live there

Alhambra is one of the more inexpensive cities in the San Gabriel Valley. The nicer part borders San Marino. Home start at 500,000 for a tiny, old home. Nicer homes start at 800,000. It's extremely overprized for what you get but then all of Southern Cal is that way. It's hot almost all year long. It's normal to get 90 + degrees days in October, November, December, January. For some people that is a positive thing. The smog is god awful. On the positive side there is a lot of shopping, restaurants ect. There is a lot to do in So Cal but there are always a ton of people doing it do so it sucks if you want to get away from the crowds. SoCal drivers are the rudest drivers I've ever encountered. Lots of road rage. Some of the nicer inland areas are La Canada-Flintridge, San Marino, South Pasadena.
