Can't Wait Until I Escape

I have lived here for years and I have two young adult children. One is here finishing college and the other is in Tokyo. Why? Because she couldn't find a job here in her field that paid well.
I am a single parent and all of the bills come down on me. In the last ten years, I have seen many young adults move out of the area. Jobs are limited or declining and most jobs in the area are part time...part time means 8-10 hrs per week.
Stores or businesses are closing in the malls and industrial parks and you cannot make a living here even though the cost of living is low compared to other parts of the country.
The weather is OK with about 25-30" of snow per year. Little entertainment and just a few good parks. Nothing to keep you here!
I need work....as soon as I can, we are out of here.
