Review of La Mira,

My Ideal Climate Doesn't Necessarily Make for Idyl
Star Rating - 6/12/2014
Los Angeles/Orange County undoubtedly has some of the best weather in America. The temperature fluctuates between 50 at the lowest and 108 at the highest, and you will find the sun shining 325 days of the year. Sun is a big deal to me, so I find this wonderful, but this climate does have a few drawbacks. The lack of rain results in stagnant air pollution, a strain on the water supply in seasons of drought (like this one), and a lack of greenery (though this is due to sprawling urban/suburban development more than anything else). None of these things are readily noticeable after being there for a little while, but the difference can be stark when traveling (especially to a state like Oregon).
