Hello, and welcome. I lived in Sierra Blanca from 1982-1986. (I was raised in the El Paso area) Sierra Blanca was a real bummer for a 24 year old. (In fact, the Border Patrol would use the threat of a transfer to Sierra Blanca as a diciplinary tactic.) Now, nearing 60, SB was on my short list as a retirement home. Unfortunately, a heart condition now requires that I live near a hospital. In other circumstances I would be buying the parcel next to you. Just where is your land located? You said above Sierra Blanca. Are you located in the old Diamond Head holdings? Or did the Love family finally bust up their ranch, and have it platted for development? Keep us in the loop.
