being a veteran of McHenry for over 20yrs. McHenry is a alright place to be, but heroin and coke are major problems there...crime is on the rise, doesn't seem to show a sign of stopping. We are becoming just like all the other Chicago suburbs. Properties that are abandon or closed down, continue to be on the rise.
