Moving to Ocala

My husband and I are moving to Ocala. In reviewing the comments, I see a very mixed group. We spent a weekend there looking at real estate and it seems there is a lot of things to do. Hiking, historical tours, great restaurants, museums, parks for recreation and of course the equestrian life.We both hate the cold and we have horses. We are really looking forward to being in Ocala. My husband grew up in Florida, so he is familiar with the weather which seems to be a constant source of complaints. We don't mind driving, so the beaches are easy for us.
