Review of Lincoln Park, Michigan

Moved to Lincoln Park in early '50s when it was growing, friendly and clean. Want to move but home values are so bad the house isn't worth enough to relocate. No more animal shelter, trash pickup is terrible, no community services (street cleaning/snow removal). With the exception of a drug bust, I haven't seen a patrol car in the neighborhood for at least five years. Not certain if there is a police department. Taxes are outrageously high considering you get nothing for it.

City council and city departments very hard to work with.

Yes taxes are high. Would be nice if roads and allies could get maintained. Ordinance officers will will sticker everything they feel needs correction. But never mind repairing roads or allies. Lincoln Park pride what a joke.
