Great small town

I actually live in the next town over, but work full-time in Columbia, and it's a really nice town. It is the walking-est city I have ever seen; people enjoy riding their bikes, walking their dogs, jogging on the sidewalks, and just generally getting around in health-conscious, environment-conscious ways, particularly downtown. For the most part, people are really friendly and accepting, and the neighborhoods are usually very picturesque and safe. Plus you have the added bonus of being very near St Louis without the big-city rushed feeling.
