Review of St. Maries, Idaho

Quiet and Good Fishing
Star Rating - 7/13/2021
Quiet and good fishing. Half the town is on a reservation, but we ourselves are a small and close knit community who mostly share the same values, love freedom and quietness. There’s no real crime here and the Sheriff won’t let nothing escalate to a problem. There’s recently a growing Mormon population for sure, all good people. I’ve been trying to get my own family to move out here before it becomes too expensive, but can’t say there’s anywhere I’d personally rather be. My only complaint is it’s been getting too crowded on the St Joe lately, mostly outsiders from Coeur d’Alene. All their jet boats constantly running on their lake at all hours do nothing but scare the fish away. People are like fish, just want some peace, untouched nature, and to be left alone.
