Beauty Overshadowed By Greed!

A truly beautiful place to live. I have lived here off & on for 26 years, and have seen a great many changes surrounding the university. Unfortunately, WCU and it's greedy faculty members have helped drive the cost of living through the roof. When a one bedroom roach infested apartment starts between $500 - $600, that's a serious problem. Cullowhee is becoming nothing but student housing for the wealthy. No honest, hard working student could afford these prices while attending school. What used to be affordable is not anymore. The bad thing is too, once somebody here charges $500 a month and gets it, they all seem to start making $500 the norm. What used to be a beautiful place is now being overshadowed by pure greed and endless price gouging.
