Worst town in western Connecticut

I bought a bank owned house in Torrington in 2011 and actually sold it for less in 2018 just to get out of this horrible place. The taxes are awful, 46 mill rate for property owners, huge heroin problem, the worst low life junkies you could ever dream of. The schools are a disaster, the police are useless and crime is much worse than reported. The locals are clannish and prone to crime. My neighbors were off putting and and constantly overdosing on dope, the ambulances were constantly there wasting my tax money on narcan. A puke pile teeming with maggots, avoid at all costs.
