Review of Moline, Illinois

Pros and Cons
Star Rating - 5/5/2006
Wonderfully friendly people, but basic. Don't expect frills as this is a manufacturing and farming area of the country. Very down to earth mentality. However, the people have all grown up here and are not so clannish as you would think they would be. Warm people for sure. Will help you. Cons are that the economy is no so hot. If you have a job or business to bring here, you will do well as the cost of living here is dirt low. Great place to raise kids. All in all, a great area with lots of things to do (amazingly so), lots of nature to see (deer, every color of squirrel, a wide variety of birds, etc.) and a warm, kind and simple environment. Again, tho, don't come looking for a job--come with one or a business.
