the population of polkton is listed as 20,753 however, i live in polkton, and know for certain that this number is very wrong. polkton is a small town, and on other pages with stats on surrounding towns, populations varied from around 2,000 in peachland to about 12,000 in wadesboro, and wadesboro is much larger than polkton. just to say it i think the population stat is wrong and i would estimate it to be around 7,000 because polkton is bigger than peachland, but smaller than polkton.
