This place is great for family and retired folk. It's by far the worst place for singles and young professionals. If you like a bigger city atmosphere, this is NOT the place for you. They call this a city, but it's like a village. A village with a beach. It will bore you to tears. Try Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids or Ann Arbor. Those are a lot better, with more things to do (culture and recreation). Lving here for 3 years and it's been excruciatingly boring.
