Cost of housing is very, very expensive compared to nearby cities of Amarillo and Dumas. Wages are very low. Avoid living anywhere close to the BNSF railroad tracks, as these trains are active around the clock, and constantly blow their horns from one end of town to the other. Horrible! The people are friendly, however.
