Review of Dalworthington Gardens, Texas

DWG is an upscale bedroom community in the center
Star Rating - 9/4/2006
We have lived in DWG for the last 15 years after relocating from CT. The city is only 2 sq miles in area with a population of about 2,200 people. Mostly homes on minimum 0.5 acre lots which is very large by TX city standards. The city is surrounded by Arlington, but maintains its own identity including a strong, dedicated police/paramedic force. City taxes are the lowest in the area. We remain a "quiet refuge" in the center of the metroplex with major shopping malls about 2 miles away, downtown FW and downtown Dallas only 20 minutes by car.
