I lived in Cullman for over 13 years when my family brought two plants there. It was tough, at first, because I wasn't a native and it is a very cliquish type of town. I don't mean this in a negative way. Most everyone there knows everyone and everyone is related to someone so they are just curious why you are there at first. However, once you have lived there a while and joined the community, they are some of the most loyal friends and family you could hope to have. Old time values and family are big there. It is a wonderful place to raise kids in that sense. There is some of the most beautiful country I have seen in this county. You have bluffs, small mountains and countryside for days.
