Great Small Town

We moved here from the Dallas area in July 2017. We are both still working but plan to retire within a few years. The people here are very helpful and friendly. Compared to the Metroplex you can find some good values on property, especially if you are willing to put in some sweat equity. Traffic is light and you are close enough to Longview and Tyler to not miss anything about big city life.
I have never lived in a small town before, but definitely recommend Gladewater for anyone who is sick of the stress and congestion that you encounter when living in a large metropolitan area.
